Christmas in Hamburg.

Two different Hamburg Christmas experiences

Our Hamburg guide currently covers the Historic Town Hall Christmas Market and Santa Pauli. Santa Pauli is scheduled from 9 November 2026, while the market at Rathausmarkt begins on 23 November. Both listings currently end on 23 December.

If you are visiting in early November, compare the start dates before choosing a market; for a late-December trip, do not assume either of these two markets is open on Christmas Day. Use the event pages to reach the official organisers and check any last-minute schedule updates.
